From I-49, take Exit 129 for MO-52 East toward Appleton City.

After exiting onto Highway 52, your GPS will likely direct you to turn onto County Road 775. While that route will get you to the resort, we recommend continuing past County Road 775 and turning right onto YY Highway instead, as County Road 775 can be pretty rough.

Your GPS should automatically reroute from there.

From YY Highway, turn right onto County Road 2506. Return To Roots Resort will be on your right in approximately ½ mile.

This route keeps your gravel-road driving to only about ½ mile and provides a much smoother trip to the resort.

Please follow these directions rather than relying solely on GPS as you approach the property. Detailed gate/access information and your dome-specific check-in instructions will be provided prior to arrival.

We currently have four exclusive glamping pods set up on our property. Each pod is designed to offer a blend of comfort and privacy, ensuring your stay feels both cozy and secluded.

Our glamping pods come fully equipped with everything you need for a luxurious stay! Each pod features plush bedding, climate control, a private bathroom, a small kitchenette, wifi, games, a sleeping/lounging loft, and a bluetooth speaker to rock out with. Outside, there’s a personal covered patio, grill, firepit, yard games, hammock, swings, and a private hot tub, perfect for enjoying the beautiful Missouri sunset.

Our property is home to an array of wildlife. Guests often spot deer wandering nearby, along with rabbits, squirrels, and plenty of songbirds. Nature lovers will truly appreciate the tranquility and gentle sounds of the outdoors.
